ABSTRACT

This research aims at studying the spiritual dynamics and social impact of Ecumenism in the various Christian Churches with the sole objective of promoting  theological understanding among Christians of different faiths;

Relevant literature and analysed field data will form basis for our method of research; while future prospects and applicability of this study’s research findings and suggestions hopes to confirm that the search for Christian unity was one of the principle concern of Vatican II. The spiritual and physical nature of man’s yearning which link Christian unity to social life finds an opportunity for expression in Ecumenical co operations.
