THE EFFECT OF INADEQUATE EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES ON THE TRAINING OF OFFICE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT STUDENTS (A CASE STUDY OF OFFICE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (OTM) OSISATECH, ENUGU)
ABSTRACT

This research work is an attempt to bring light to the effect of inadequate educational facilities on the training of office technology and management (A case study of office technology and management (OTM) OSISATECH Enugu). The researcher formulated ten research questions to help achieve objectives. Due to the limited resources of the researchers a sample was used to the study. The questionnaire was used to obtain the information from the research subject percentages and tables are used in the analysis. The analysis of collected data revealed that the introduction of educational facilities will improve the academic performance of the students, the department should endeavor to provide computers, photocopying machines, stapling machine, automatic mailing machine, etc. are found to be useful. The institute should employ experts who should teach these new facilities. The researcher therefore conclude that students should learn how to handle these facilities hence they will face the same equipment outside the institution. Based on the above, I therefore recommend among others that institute of higher learning equipped if they wish to produce efficient and well equip managers to meet further challenges of business word.
