ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to examine the impact of management in FUOYE Theatre and Media Arts department. That is, using the department as a case study to examine the importance of management in the department. Chapter one covers the general introduction which includes the background, purpose, significance and scope of the study, there is also the methodology, limitation of study and definition of terms. Chapter two is the literature review, which is an in depth look into management in an organisation especially the theatre. Chapter three discussed the challenges facing FUOYE Theatre and Media Arts department and how to manage the University theatre effectively. Chapter four is the conclusion, comprises of the summary and recommendations.
