They were also able to know the major cause of hearing impairment which is diseases. The hearing impaired should also be educated because they are normal children and have a right to be educated like the others non impaired. They should be handled by a specialist teacher. The hearing impaired should also be allowed to follow the regular school cuniculum and allowed to learn with the non- impaired learner. Recommendations made from the study were training more teachers on special education so as to handle learners with hearing impairments in regular schools. Having a flexible curriculum to meet the needs of learners with hearing impairments. Equipping the regular X schools with specialist material and equipment to cater for the learners needs. The hearing impaired learner should be allowed to follow the regular school cuniculum and handled by a specialist teacher. From the study it can be concluded that the teachers have knowledge and understanding of the hearing impairment. The hearing impaired should be provided with education, included in regular schools handled by a specialist teacher. The curriculum should be modified to allow flexibility in the exam.
